My husband asked for the manager and Sal was also a pleasure to talk to. We expressed how great Sammy and the restaurant was . Get our drinks, gave us time to check menus. Served the appetizers! Thank you! Got our orders one by one, making sure it's for the right person, someone was taking a note behind. I ordered Gemelli Pasta with Shrimp and Scallop. Love it! Great dinner! Amazing time ! Will definitely come back! ”

“ I recently enjoyed a work-related dinner celebration at Bluewater Grill. The guest of honor chose the restaurant (I had visited previously a few years ago and had a good experience) and I readily agreed. I was glad there was no valet working as last time they parked my car 6" from where I gave it to them and had to pay for parking after a fairly pricey meal (that sucked, frankly.) Anyhow, this visit there was no parking drama, lol. We were seated at a nice table with a view of the harbor. Our waiter was friendly and eager to please. Not to be tough but he seemed somewhat inexperienced (maybe even nervous) as he rapidly moved through his greeting, etc. The service was slightly awkward throughout the evening with confusion at food delivery, delayed drinks and check-ins. The best thing about the evening was the food! The presentation, quantity and quality were all top-notch! I had the Catalina Island swordfish (is that a thing?), it was delicious! Scallops, salmon, bread, cocktails - all great! So, was it worth it? YES!!! I can deal with eager (and maybe inexperienced) service as long as I enjoy the vibe of the place and the food is GOOD - as it was in this case. 4.5 stars - it's a nice spot to dine. ”

“ Blue water Grill is always very good, we had shrimp/crab louie salad and my wife had a burger and both were excellent, I don't think i've ever had a bad meal here over the years. Great location in Redondo Beach, right next to king harbor marina, lots of boats everywhere and a great seaside vibe!! ”

It could be as romantic as you'd like, just make sure you tell the hostess you're there for a more romantic meal, you can also come for a large party to celebrate any occasion- either way the staff delivers a spectacular experience accompanied with spot-on food! Bottom line, this place is flexible for small to large groups, with kids and all welcome! ”

“ We had a phenomenal experience at Bluewater Grill. The location is absolutely beautiful - this is a great place for a date night, birthday party, and happy hour. The view is of the marina, we went on a beautiful day and it was stunning. Service was slow to begin because a big group was sat right before us but Janice soon made up for it with her fantastic personality and wonderful recommendations. I love the little things people do and she's that person. We love their clam chowder (new england style) and she recommended trying the manhattan clam chowder which isn't usually something we usually like but it was actually delicious. Even better, she suggested a 1/2 and 1/2 soup (in same bowl) - and it was mind blowing. I knew immediately she was a foodie. All her recommendations were great. We had the Fishemans Platter and Gemelli Pasta with Shrimp & Scallops. A+ So basically, the service, food and ambiance was impeccable. Why? The manager Carlos was amazing and I can see that his team loves him. He did stop by the table to check in on us and we look forward to heading back soon. Parking is paid valet but you can park on the metered street parking if you want to save a few bucks and get a short walk in. Lunch time parking was $10. Street parking for 2 hours was about $4. I hate strangers in my car so I opted for the extra 100 steps to park on the street. ”

“ Went for lunch to Bluewater grill and had such a great experience! Our server Janice was absolutely amazing. She made the experience so great, as she not only took great care of us but made some suggestions that made the food even better. First she suggested we try the clam chowder mixed between the two styles they offer, and my wife and I loved it! Then suggested a little bit of lemon for the soup, as well as my pasta, and that was also delicious. The restaurant has an amazing view of the harbor which also made the experience and ambiance so memorable. We both enjoyed our cocktails as well. We spoke to the manager Carlos as well, and he was extremely nice and friendly. We will definitely be coming back again soon as we had such a great experience there! ”

“ Located in King Harbor, Redondo Beach, this is a great place for a party! i attended a birthday party here this past weekend and it was wonderful. There were probably 40+ people in attendance and we were in a large, spacious private room with a waterfront view of the boats in the harbor. The room was toward the rear of the restaurant and completely private with its own restrooms. The menu was prearranged by our host and arrived promptly as scheduled. Salad and sourdough bread followed by the entrees. Our food was colorful and beautifully plated, in large portion, perfect in temperature and delicious! Everyone was raving about how good the food was especially since we were a large party. Being a vegetarian, I had pasta with vegetables in marinara sauce. The sauce was light and tangy. The veggies (asparagus) were the of perfect firmness and the pasta was al dente. Service was excellent. Our servers were attentive, helpful, warm and friendly. Parking was convenient with valet parking in the lot. ”

“ I really love this place. The ambiance is great, the servers and bus staff are always so attentive and wonderful. Food is really good, rarely have I had anything I didn't like. Drinks are great and lots of food choices plus a huge basket of bread to start (which I always say I am going to only eat one piece but it doesn't happen). I also love the Seafood Louie salad because they are hard to find anymore. Would love it if they brought back the smoked fish appetizer. Bonus points for outdoor seating for dogs but no longer welcome on the patio area pictured but I get it, a few bad dog owners ruin it for all. Overall a nice restaurant. Some would find it a bit pricey but honestly I think for the quality and ambiance, it's worth it. ”
